No matter your skill level or how good you are, you can always improve. Each time you approach the vice, you should think about making each step better, easier, faster, neater, less complicated - you pick the adjective. Once this thought process becomes an ingrained part of your tying, you will be on your way to becoming a thinking, and significantly better, fly tier.
'Become a Thinking Fly Tier' by Jim Cramer.
